Four Saints Brewing pays homage to the patron saints of beer, Saint Wenceslaus, Saint Nicholas, Saint Luke and Saint Augustine of Hippo. They’ve become the most recognized patron saints for brewing and beer because of their contributions to and associations with the world’s favorite sudsy beverage.

Caduceus Cellars and Merkin Vineyards Wine Tasting

Caduceus Cellars is a winery in Jerome, Arizona, United States. It is owned by Maynard James Keenan, who is best known as the vocalist for Grammy Award-winning progressive metal band Tool. He is descended from Northern Italian winemakers. While the winery is named after caduceus, an ancient symbol for commerce and staff of the Greek god Hermes, the vineyard is named Merkin Vineyards, after a pubic wig (merkin). Tasting is $10 (plus tax) or $7 (plus tax) for Wine Club Members. Get tickets!

Elizabeth Flynt Pokela Art Show

Fine art photography at its best! Elizabeth Flynt Pokela is an award-winning fine art and portrait photographer from North Carolina. She received her BFA in Photography and Sculpture from the University of the South, Sewanee. She studied under master photographer Pradip Malde learning all traditional and historical techniques of capturing and printing photographs. Elizabeth has exhibited her work nationally and has been published in Food and Wine, Southern Living and Garden Design magazines. Her company, Flynt Images, produces and sells photographs and fine art directly and through shows such as the International Home Furnishings Market in High Point, North Carolina and ArtExpo in New York City. Elizabeth’s work is now digitally captured and her black-and-white prints are true silver gelatin photographs produced through digital projection on to photographic paper.
